Marriott International signs sole preferred and recommended supplier frame agreement with Quadriga Worldwide Limited - 27-01-2006

Marriott International has signed a sole preferred and recommended supplier frame agreement with Quadriga Worldwide Limited, the European market leader in the provision of in-room guest entertainment and communication services. Quadriga will provide its proven and established Genesis digital solution into more than 18,000 Marriott rooms, including Marriott, JW Marriott, Courtyard by Marriott and Renaissance. Bulgari and Ritz-Carlton will also benefit from this frame agreement. A total of over 80 Marriott properties across Europe, the Middle East and Africa will be installed over the next 3 years.

Marriott guests will benefit from the latest on–demand music and movies with up to the minute blockbuster content, delivered by satellite. High speed internet links will also be available to all guests via the TV. Each room will be equipped with the latest LCD flat screens which will further enhance the overall guest experience and room aesthetics.

Marriott properties will also benefit from Quadriga’s unique Network Operating Centre (NOC) providing Marriott with real-time proactive monitoring of the in-room guest entertainment solution and delivering best in class service to each individual Marriott property.

Additionally, the proven effect of Genesis, which has now been running for 4 years and is contracted to more than 66,000 rooms, shows that hotels experience revenue increases of as much as 3 times that of traditional analogue Pay TV services.
