Quadriga Worldwide Limited, the European market leader in the provision of in-room guest entertainment and communication services will supply its proven and established Genesis digital solution to more than 6000 Hyatt rooms in 20 properties across Europe.

Recognised for its ease of use and wealth of content and language options, the Genesis IP digital platform, provides hoteliers with a future proof solution that can be customised to meet the requirements of their particular guest profile. The latest on-demand blockbuster titles and true classics, to kid’s movies and short programs, as well as on-demand music and Internet access, are all options available to Genesis customers. Coupled with a choice of quality branded TV’s and the latest LCD flat screens, hoteliers have the opportunity to maximise their overall guest experience and room aesthetics.

Hotels also benefit from Quadriga’s ongoing technology investment. A satellite link to each individual property constantly refreshes the Genesis content offer ensuring the latest movies are available to guests, quickly. Quadriga’s unique Network Operating Centre (NOC) also provides Hyatt and other Quadriga customers with real-time proactive monitoring of their in-room guest entertainment services, delivering ‘best in class service’ to each individual property.

Ian Crabb, Quadriga’s Chief Executive, said “in selecting Quadriga it was essential that Hyatt found a partner who could offer a solution that not only met its guests needs, but one whose product was successfully established and proven in the market place. With over 70,000 Genesis rooms under contract and a product that has been running successfully for 4 years, Hyatt can be confident in this product.”

Quadriga’s Sales and Marketing Director, Myron Tataryn, comments “The capability of Genesis to deliver a consistent and high quality guest experience is a key benefit for hotels. With the added benefit that Genesis can also be provided over any network, be it cat 2, cat 5, cat 6 or coax, it becomes increasingly attractive to hoteliers as Genesis can be customised to meet their needs whether customer service driven, financial or technological. Furthermore, the Genesis IP based digital platform enables hoteliers to benefit from a technology that is future proof, enabling it to grow and develop as guest needs evolve. It is essential that when making investments of this size, hoteliers are confident that their partner has the capability and security to meet their needs today and tomorrow”
